Message	C4 for acceleration performance, Porsche 944 Turbo for handling, and Porsche 928 for interior styling cues. The Z has always targeted the Corvette and use the Corvette as the benchmark (is it no surprise that the C5 used the Z as a benchmark?). As for the other Japanese sports cars, Nissan never thought of them as a threat as Nissan's goal was to unseat the Corvette in sales in America. Cheers! Michael.
